Long before festival wristbands and lineup posters, there was the smiley. It was sprayed on warehouse walls, printed on flyers, and worn by everyone who discovered acid house in the late ’80s. It became the face of a movement that never really stopped. This iconic Acid Tee is a spray-painted look, dripping, and ready for the dancefloor.

Mad Threads was born in Sydney’s dance music scene, out of 30 years of DJing, promoting, and working the events. We make gear for people who own their addiction to music, and wear it everywhere from the dancefloor to the house party, the coffee shop, or the couch.

• Soft, breathable cotton: Lightweight 153 gsm ring-spun cotton, made from 100% US-grown cotton, that stays comfortable from the first set to the closer.
• Holds its shape: A ribbed crew collar with taped neck and shoulders keeps the neckline neat wash after wash.
• No scratchy tags: The label tears away.
• Made more responsibly: OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. Fabric offcuts are recycled into new fibre, and a third of the energy used to make it comes from renewable sources.

100% ring-spun cotton. Sport Grey is 90% cotton, 10% poly. Dark Heather is 65% poly, 35% cotton.

Made for you

Every tee is printed when you order it, so there’s no warehouse of dead stock. If your tee arrives faulty, misprinted, or wrong in any way, send us a photo within 30 days and we’ll replace it or replace you.
